The Departmental Social Transcript Commission Held Its First Meeting

The first meeting of the Unit Social Transcript Commission at Edremit Vocational School was held under the chairmanship of Lecturer Nuray UNAT. The Director of the Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Selami SELVİ, also attended the meeting and provided evaluations regarding the process.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the social transcript is a significant document, not only for recording students' academic achievements but also for documenting their social, cultural, scientific, and volunteer activities. Prof. Dr. Selami SELVİ highlighted the importance of program chairs and academic advisors encouraging students to make greater use of the social transcript application.

The commission also discussed the social transcript application and evaluation processes. To ensure the systematic implementation of the practice throughout the vocational school, it was decided that the commission would meet at least twice a year, specifically at the beginning and end of each semester.
